O.K. so I know that sounds like a crazy headline and that it’s hyped up.
Well, it’s not.
Seriously… Watch this video I put together for you…
Here’s the story…
I took a trip down to Icahn Stadium in NYC, to watch some of the pros compete.
There were two reasons I was going…
1) Tto support Christian Taylor who was long jumping. And if you remember, we did an interview together just for you guys. Plus I was able to shoot some video of him jumping so he could use for analysis.
The other reason I went was…
2) I knew that 3 of the 4 best high jumpers out there were going to be at this meet.
- Mutaz Barshim
- Bohdan Bondarenko
- Erik Kynard
So I knew it was going to be a good competition. But I didn't know it was going to be that good.
Let's put it this way. Barshim and Bondarenko both jumped higher than any two competitors ever jumped in competition before.
And the stadium (with 4,000 fans) was going CRAZY!
I've never seen that for any field event competition.. EVER! Everyone was on the edge of their seats.
The cool part for you was I was able to shoot video and record it. So I put together the quick video you see above.
This was just one of those incredible moments in track and field history, and I wanted to share it with you.
